The Jabal Omar project is one of the distinguished projects that we are proud to be involved in, by preparing an environmental impact assessment study for the project in collaboration with Jabal Omar Company.

Location and Area

The project is located on the western side of the Holy Mosque, covering an area of approximately 230,000 square meters. It is considered one of the main projects within an integrated system dedicated to the development of the central area around the Holy Kaaba.

Environmental Considerations and Sustainability Efforts

Project Jabal Omar has made efforts to minimize its environmental impact through various sustainability measures such as energy-efficient lighting systems, water conservation strategies like low-flow fixtures and rainwater harvesting systems, waste management plans including recycling programs, green building materials with low volatile organic compounds (VOCs), insulation for better thermal performance, and green spaces to enhance air quality and provide a sense of tranquility amidst urban development. These initiatives are part of Project Jabal Omar’s commitment to sustainable urban development while preserving Mecca’s cultural heritage and spiritual significance.
