  2. Design and implementation of Sorting Point No. (14) along with its associated facilities.
  3. Design and implementation of Security Gate No. (17).
  4. Redesign and implementation of the central bus station to accommodate at least 2500 buses.

Road Works Design :

Objective: Achieving safety and smooth flow in the bus entry movement to serve the operational process and prevent traffic congestion.

Steps:

  1. Study the statistics related to the numbers of pilgrims for previous years and the expected numbers for upcoming years (traffic study).
  2. Determine the number of lanes on the road leading to the pilgrims’ complex based on the traffic study.
  3. Identify the locations of Sorting Point No. (14) and Security Gate No. (17), and the number of lanes for the road at each of these points.
  4. Find practical solutions for the intersections along the road to the pilgrims’ lounge.
